I lost my mother when I was seven years old. For years, I carried that pain without knowing where to place it. I became angry, lost, and hardened by the world, fighting in the streets and eventually in MMA, while searching for something strong enough to give my life direction.

That search led me home, to my Filipino culture, my ancestors, and the sacred healing tradition of Hilot. Through my families Espiritista lineage, I found purpose, hope, discipline, and a responsibility greater than myself.

Today, alongside my wife, Dr. Darcie Pulawa-Morales, I help people reconnect with Hilot through Bahay Hilom, America’s accredited Hilot training school, founded here in Hawaiʻi.
